Patch Note [005]
New

A New Look for the Interface · Part 2

Dozens more windows move to the new design: ribbon title, rounded panels, confirmations inside the window, and most of them can now be resized.

What changes today

  • NewThe Messenger and Conversations are now one window (E): a side rail with Discussions, Friends, Guild and Party (while in a party), your contacts in a sortable table and the chat right next to them. Clicking a friend opens your chat and pins it to the rail (up to 50 shortcuts), and unread badges show new messages.
  • ChangedFriend requests arrive in a small card: Enter no longer accepts them by accident, and closing the card declines the request. Friends are now added from the Messenger itself.
  • NewGuild window: a side menu (overview, members, ranking, ranks, activity, talents, camp, settings) and a resizable window. Double-click a talent to unlock it, the new Active bonuses tab adds up every talent bonus of your guild, and a Leave guild button sits in the settings.
  • NewThe guild bank and its history are now one window with two tabs; contributing to the guild is done right in the window.
  • NewBank: your three characters' banks side by side, each with its 42 slots and its owner's name, and a 4-digit PIN entry. Storage: a side panel shows the 7 tabs (free and locked), with Take all / Put all and an Add Tab menu right on a free slot.
  • NewCharacter window: all its tabs on one row in a smaller, resizable window. Hover the job icon or a badge to see its name, and you can now take off your worn ranking badge.
  • NewSkill Tree: search, All / Learned / Locked filters and sorting, with cards that follow the window size. Duration: resizable, the time left turns red in the last minute. Motion: one grid sorted into Interactions, Dances and Fun, plus the emoticons tab.
  • NewCouple window: one compact page with your partner, the couple level and the three couple skills, each with the level its next tier needs.
  • NewAzure Forge, Jewel Setting, Remove a Pierced Card and Pet Mistake (pet rebirth) get the new look. Right-click an item in your inventory to put it into Jewel Setting or Remove a Pierced Card.
  • ChangedWeapon Fusion and Restore a Fusion are now one window with two tabs. The separate Restore a Fusion entry is gone from the NPC menus: pick Weapon Fusion at the same NPCs and open the Restore tab.
  • NewQuick Sell (filter sidebar, resizable) and Buy Back (a table with search, Select all, the total price and a confirmation) get the new look.
  • NewThe Farm and Guild Camp windows, the Arena of the Gods registration (party, the 10 waves, rewards) and the PropHunt registration (how it works, points) get the new look.
  • NewIn-window notifications: in these windows, results and errors now pop up inside the window instead of in the chat.
  • NewTrade window: both offers side by side with their penya, your partner's accept state, and a final recap you can now cancel while you wait for your partner. Trade invites arrive in a compact card with a 30-second bar.
  • NewNPC shops: category tabs, a search, your balance in the shop's currency, and an icon grid with short prices that turn red when you cannot afford them. Buying shows the real price after discounts, Max respects your balance, and a refused sale now tells you why.
  • NewThe hair shop and plastic surgery are now one window, the Beauty Salon: a 3D preview you can rotate, the hairstyles, all 12 hair colours of character creation (most were out of reach before) plus colour sliders, the faces, and one bill with every price shown.
  • NewChat: redrawn and resizable. When you are not using it, only the messages stay on screen; the frame comes back on hover or with Enter. The filter and the log open as panels beside the chat, and the new Chat colours window lets you pick one of 12 colours for each chat type (say, whisper, shout, party, guild, notice).
  • NewOne item window now serves Cancel Level Reduction, Remove Premium Item Blessing, Remove a Pick-up Pet Awakening, Exchange for Scroll of Pet Revival pieces, Create Jewels, Remove Element upgrading, Item Transy, Add awake lines, Create Shining Oricalkum and Rarity Transfer. Right-click an inventory item to place it; results show inside the window, which stays open for the next item. Removing an element shows its 100,000 penya fee up front.
  • NewWheel of Fortune: a new casino-style window with Classic / VIP tabs, your spin history, auto-spin and x10, and bigger celebrations for bigger prizes, in auto-spin and x10 too.
  • NewMinimap: a square map that fades at its edges, mouse-wheel zoom, a tooltip on every button, and a searchable NPC list on right-click.
  • NewTraining Grounds: a resizable side panel with Monster, Buffs and Combat measures tabs, a monster search across Madrigal, ticket maps and dungeons, and one searchable list of consumables with Check all.
  • NewConfirmations and pop-ups across the game (party and guild invites, revive, dropping an item, the logout countdown, naming a pet or a guild, summoning a friend, opening boxes...) use the new look, as do the Rift recap, the dungeon summary, the Wave Race results and the level / GearScore warning.

Guild & Community

  • NewGuild chat and the guild conversation of the Messenger are now the same channel: a message sent in one shows in the other, the Guild tab shows the last 25 lines when you log in, and the guild conversation keeps up to 500 messages. A muted player cannot post there either.
  • NewTwo new staff roles: the Guide, whose shouts and name twinkle in khaki, and the Event Hoster. Staff members now wear a title banner instead of the old [GM], [Moderator] and [Admin] name tags.
  • FixedA player added to a group conversation now sees it with its member list right away, without relogging.

Combat & PvP

  • ChangedEVA Storm (Elementor) now casts 1.5x faster.
  • ChangedSpectral Javelin (Elementor) now casts 1.25x faster, with lower damage per hit to match.

Dungeons & Rift

  • ChangedDungeon energy now refills up to its cap: gauges no longer stay stuck just below it, and the refill starts as soon as you spend below the cap.
  • ChangedActivity rewards that give dungeon energy now fill both your character energy and the PC energy, so they always raise the energy you can use.
  • NewScreens now show one number, your usable energy. Hover it for the detail: both gauges, the next refill, today's activity energy and today's history on this PC. The dungeon entry window shows it next to the entry cost, and going back into a run you already paid for costs 0.
  • NewA chat line tells you how much energy your activity rewards just gave.
  • FixedThe Enter button no longer lights up when you lack PC energy, the world map dungeon tooltip colours its energy line correctly, and the PC energy no longer changes on its own after you spend it.
  • ChangedRift monsters from rift level 121 and up deal 20% less damage.
  • ChangedRifts now go up to level 152 (was 160).

Items & Economy

  • ChangedThe 12 jewels (rings, earrings, necklaces) dropped by Beast King Khan in The Wilds now bind when equipped, and their drops have been adjusted.
  • ChangedThe Wandering Merchant now sells Energy Scroll +10 for 1 Token Rift (up to 3) in place of Pet Energy.
  • Changed[Rift Merchant] Rengar sells Pet Energy again (1 Token Rift) instead of Energy Scroll +10.
  • ChangedOffline shops and the Shop Search show prices in Perin + Penya, so large prices are readable at a glance.
  • ChangedQuick Sell accepts items of any level again (items above level 105 were refused).
  • FixedAn upgrade that names a protection scroll you no longer have is now refused instead of going ahead unprotected, and the upgrade window's auto mode waits for each result before the next try.

World & Map

  • ChangedTraseia and Dark Traseia monster spawns have been updated.
  • NewYour map marks are now saved per character and survive a restart; renaming one opens a small popup right on the world map.

Interface

  • ChangedAdventure Quest: the monster icon you jump to on the world map now pulses, so it is easy to spot.
  • NewYour camera zoom is now remembered after a restart.
  • FixedPlaying with several clients open no longer makes one overwrite the other's settings (pet filter, Extended view...).
  • ChangedEvery bound item now shows Soul-linked. in its tooltip, and keeps its bound prefix next to a random-option name.

Forge Repairs

  • FixedBuff timers no longer show about 49 days left; a buff whose time has run out shows 0.
  • FixedOn the Nebulisk, the rider now sits properly on the mount.
  • FixedPet Mistake: a quick double click on Apply can no longer charge you twice.
  • FixedThe guild notice no longer lets you type more text than it can save.
  • FixedThe tutorial step Claim a Season Pass reward no longer blocks players who already reached the pass's top level.
  • FixedAn armor aura now replaces the set-upgrade glow instead of stacking on top of it.
  • FixedOn the Sushi Kitten, the rider now sits properly.
  • FixedThe Activity Scroll has its own icon.
  • FixedBanners in the character Banners tab fit their slot instead of covering the name.
  • FixedOffline shops: you can now type the quantity when buying or selling.
  • FixedWheel of Fortune prize announcements name the wheel again, and spinning without a ticket tells you which ticket you need.

Safe travels, adventurers
