Patch Note [Beta 6]
New

Arena of the Gods

A new party event three times a week: fight ten waves of monsters and famous bosses in your own arena. The fastest parties take the podium.

What changes today

  • NewThe party leader registers the group with [Infernal Tower] Tommy in Flaris (menu "Arena of the Gods"), from 30 minutes before the start. Parties of 2 to 8 players, on channel 1. It runs Monday 15:30, Wednesday 16:30 and Saturday 15:30 UTC and is listed in the activity calendar.
  • NewWhen registration closes, every member gets a join prompt and has 5 minutes to enter. If you leave during the fight, you can come back in.
  • NewEach party fights alone in its own arena: 10 waves, 60 minutes max. A panel shows the timer, the wave and the live ranking; parties are ranked by waves reached, then time.
  • NewBosses up to [God of Wrath] Kalgas enter phases as they lose HP, announced on screen:
    BossWhat to do
Alpha ClockWorkCharges a laser: stop hitting it.
AsmodanHitting him inside the dispelling smoke strips your buffs.

New

Training Grounds

A private practice room to test your build: summon the monster you want, set up your buffs and read your real damage, with nothing to lose.

What changes today

  • NewTalk to the [Training Grounds] Instructor and pick "Training Grounds" to enter your own private room. It is free and unlimited; dying there costs nothing and you are revived on the spot.
  • NewMonster tab: summon one monster at a time from Madrigal, the ticket zones (such as Four Element) or the dungeons, with the dungeon's difficulty. Its HP, attack, defense and speed are shown, and you can make it Stationary, Invincible, give it Unlimited HP or choose whether it attacks you.
  • NewBuffs & bonuses tab: switch on server buffs (all in one click), consumables, the NPC buffer buffs, Fury (full group) and your guild talent tree, all simulated for free.
  • NewStats panel: damage dealt and received, DPS, total, highest and average hit, your measured critical, miss and block share and the fight duration, with a Reset button.
  • NewShrink the window to a compact bar that keeps the stats and the Restore HP / MP button; it closes by itself when you leave.

Inside the room there is no loot and no EXP, your personal buffs are paused (they come back when you leave) and inventory items cannot be used; changing equipment still works. Leave with the Leave the room button.

Boss Mechanics

  • New[God of Wrath] Kalgas in Kalgas Cave now uses six new mechanics:
    MechanicHow to survive it

MeteorA marker shows where it falls: gather enough players inside to share the damage, or the whole group is hit.
PylonsPylons appear and Kalgas takes far less damage while one stands: destroy them.
Frontal shieldAttacks from the front are deflected: hit Kalgas from the sides or from behind.
Devouring orbsOrbs walk to Kalgas and heal it: step on them to stop them, but each one slows you.
  • FixedGreat Gannessa and Great Asuras in the Secret Room now use their special attacks; before, they never did.
