Patch Note [Beta 8]
Combat Rebalance
Player damage has been rebuilt from the ground up for every class: it now grows steadily as you level, your gear adds its own gap on top, and the classes are balanced against each other again. Monster HP was re-set to match, so every class can clear the content made for its level.
What changes today
- ChangedSkill and auto-attack damage now rise steadily with your level and never drop when you level up with the same gear. Some classes hit harder than before, others a little less at some levels: skill tooltips show the new values.
- ChangedA skill you learn later always hits harder than one learned earlier, and on a second job your second-job skills now hit harder per cast than the first-job skills you still have.
- ChangedClasses that fight with auto attacks: each skill hit now lands about like an auto attack, single-target skills a little harder and AoE skills a little softer. Long-cooldown skills no longer hit many times harder than an auto attack.
- ChangedMagic classes: spells with a cooldown now hit like a regular spell with the same cast time, single-target a little harder and AoE a little softer.
- ChangedSpirit Bomb is now the Psykeeper's biggest hit, in PvE and PvP.
- ChangedPvP: two players of the same level and gear now need about three hits to kill each other; better gear or a higher level means fewer. Only Asalraalaikum and Penya Strike can still one-shot. Some classes now take less damage from players to keep this even.
- ChangedMonster HP re-set to the new damage: most captains and Giants below level 100 have less HP, most monsters and Giants from level 120 have more, and the Infernal Tower was re-tuned floor by floor.
- ChangedDungeons follow the new damage, so bosses take longer to fall:
Dungeon Monster HP Clockwork Cage, Ancient Chamber slightly higher The Wilds, Catacombs of Anguish, Valley of Xius Mists about 30% higher Ankou's Asylum, Kalgas Cave much higher: they stay the toughest dungeons, in every mode - ChangedSecret Room: Asmodan now has 4 billion HP (was about 8.9 billion).
Only the damage you deal was rebuilt: monster damage, your HP and your defense are unchanged. We are watching every class closely, so expect adjustments from your feedback on Discord.
Interface
- NewNew Shop, rebuilt from scratch to replace the old one: a resizable window with a search bar, a home page (featured items, promotions, ending soon, new items and every category), categories with sub-categories, a promo filter and 6 sorts, a 3D preview you can rotate, x1/x5/x10 quantities, a cart of up to 10 lines with a confirmation, and a button to top up diamonds on the website.
- NewThe shop's footer shows your weekly donor ranking and the monthly donor milestone: your tier, what is left to the next one and its rewards (hover +N to see them all).
- NewNew F-Tool window: a master switch, one card per line with its skill or item, key, interval and state (click to start or pause it), an Auto toggle, a warning when two lines share a key, and an editor with clickable F1-F9 slots and 1/3/10/30 s interval buttons. A How it works tab explains it all in the window.
- NewRedesigned login screen: your saved accounts appear as chips (click one to log in, x to forget it), a button shows your password, a pill shows whether the server is online, and new Discord and Create account buttons.
- NewThe server screen is gone: you go straight to the new character selection, with your three characters in 3D side by side and an info panel. The channel is picked after the character (only when there is more than one), with a Channel button and an option to always take the quietest channel.
- NewRedesigned character creation: classes across the top, an Appearance panel with face and hairstyle arrows and 12 hair colours; your bank PIN is now set in a small window when you click Create.
- ChangedAwakening, reversion and protection scrolls are used directly again: double-click the scroll, then click the item. A never-awakened item no longer asks for a Scroll of Reversion. Dropping a scroll on an item no longer opens the Awake Atelier (it still opens from its menu).
- NewCard Collection: hover the active bonus to see the total of every active set's bonuses.
- NewThe item tooltip now lists Rift reward as a source, for example for the Token Rift.
- FixedThe mouse wheel scrolls the Grimoire skill list again.
- FixedA job change scroll no longer removes your wardrobe armor glow or aura.
- FixedThe pet tooltip's separator lines no longer cut through the pet's name and life line.
- NewInventory: a new arrow hides the equipment to keep only the bag (each layout keeps its own size), and the GearScore now sits under the character model instead of over its head.
- NewTeleport shortcuts on the taskbar now show their destination's own icon, and the world map's shortcut button shows the selected destination.
- NewThe skill tooltip adds a second estimate against the monster you have selected, with its defense and level taken into account.
- ChangedAwake Atelier: up to 5 targets now show at once, stat and item names are no longer cut with "..." (hover a cut name to read it in full), and the protection note moved into its toggle's tooltip.
- ChangedPet filter: the Pick-Up All and Pick-Up Nothing tabs now tick or clear every box, so the window shows what your pet really picks up.
- FixedDragging a skill onto the Grimoire's shortcut slots now works.
- FixedNPC speech bubbles now show accented letters correctly.
- FixedThe monster wiki now shows the real penya a monster drops; it showed amounts far too low.
EXP & Rates
- ChangedThe beta boosts end: monster EXP is back to x1 (was x3), and monsters drop half as much penya.
- ChangedFaery Rank EXP from kills is back to normal: the beta's x10 boost ends.

PvP & Prop Hunt
- ChangedPvP arenas (FFA, TDM, Team Mixed) now accept registration only while the match is announced; before, a late registration could be charged for a match you never saw.
- FixedYour entry fee is now refunded when a match is closed by a GM or the server stops before the fight.
- FixedPvP Preset: coming back into a match already running now gives you your preset character; you could fight with your own character.
- ChangedTeam Mixed: a match where nobody scores no longer pays chips.
- FixedTeam Mixed matches now count for game-mode achievements, quests and records, like FFA and TDM.
- FixedYou can no longer be in a PvP arena and in Prop Hunt at the same time.
- NewProp Hunt: seekers now get their own Prop Hunt Sword, which cannot be traded and is always taken back after the match, even after a disconnect or a server restart.
- ChangedProp Hunt: the teleport window, teleporter NPCs and Blinkwings can no longer be used during a match (the scroll is not used up).
- FixedProp Hunt: frozen seekers can no longer walk during the preparation.
- FixedProp Hunt: a round that ends on the timer now gives the survival bonus to every hider still alive.
- FixedProp Hunt: the winner is decided when the ranking opens, so leaving during the ranking no longer loses a win, and players who left the match now rank below those who stayed.
- FixedProp Hunt: a seeker hitting something that is not a hider no longer hurts themself, and dead or in-dungeon registrants are left out at the start and told why.
- FixedProp Hunt: after a server restart during a match you no longer come back frozen or holding the seeker sword, and your own weapon is always given back.
Secret Room
- FixedOnly the guild master can now hold a lineup: a lineup with only an officer was accepted, then failed when the war began. An officer's death no longer fails the guild.
- FixedA lineup only accepts members of your guild, and a player who leaves or is kicked from the guild is taken out of the lineup and the room, with no credit.
- ChangedWhen an officer cancels the guild's bid, the refund now goes to the guild master (by mail if offline or at the penya cap), not to the officer.
- FixedA guild master killed inside a room now arrives in Madrigal alive, and so do members who are dead when the event closes.
- FixedLogging back in after a disconnect inside a room now puts you at your own continent's revival point; West members landed in Flaris and could not get back in.
- FixedA guild can no longer fail twice, which could close its continent early while another guild was still fighting.
- FixedAfter a server restart, failed guilds and an already decided continent no longer come back into the event, and your bid and refunds are saved right away.
- FixedEvery lineup member now gets the end-of-event notice, and a member who enters after the war begins now gets participation credit.
Dungeons & Rift
- ChangedDungeons now have a maximum level, and each run costs more energy (1 before):
Dungeon Levels GearScore Energy per run Mars Mine 55-70 60 5 Iviliss Mine 65-80 140 8 Dekane Mine 85-105 240 12 Clockwork Cage 105-120 700 15 Volcane 115-120 1,050 20 Musuleum of Drakul 115-120 1,050 20 The Wilds 128-130 1,850 25 Catacombs of Anguish 128-130 1,850 25 Valley of Xius Mists 128-130 1,850 25 Ankou's Asylum 150 2,150 (was 2,450) 25 Kalgas Cave 150 2,150 (was 2,450) 25 - ChangedRift: your reward tier now also depends on clear speed. Faster clears earn the better tier, so a solo or duo run no longer gets Platinum on its own, and the tier on screen follows the clock.
- ChangedRift rewards are smaller: fewer items, about half the dust, and Sunstone and Moonstone are no longer among them.
- ChangedRift EXP below max level now follows your level: about the same as before at low level, much less at high level.
- NewAt max level with a Faery Rank, Rift EXP now fills your Faery Rank bar instead of being lost.
- NewNew Precious Chest: it can come as a bonus reward from Gold and Platinum Rifts at level 121+, in Hard and Infernal, and may hold the new AFK Vendor Box.
- ChangedFar fewer Rifts are open at once across the world: 4 (was 26).
- ChangedRift: the Token Rift is now also among the Silver, Gold and Platinum rewards, not only Bronze, so smaller groups can earn it too.
- FixedParty dungeons in Solo difficulty: monster debuff skills no longer play their effects on you (they already did not apply), and melee monsters simply hit normally.
- FixedTraining Grounds: hits on the target now show their real damage instead of stopping at its max HP.
- ChangedNothing you do in the Training Grounds counts for records or leaderboards anymore.
Items & Economy
- NewNew Dragon Ball Z card set in the Card Collection: 47 cards, with a set bonus that grows from +2% to +10% attack and max HP.
- NewNew Halloween card set in the Card Collection, from October 16 to November 9 (00:00 UTC): 30 cards, with a set bonus that raises your drop rate and penya gains.
- ChangedThe penya amount box (trade, bank, guild bank) now accepts grouped amounts such as 2,200,000,000; before, such an amount was silently ignored.
- FixedYou can now buy more than 21 perins at once from a shop, and the buyback window accepts paying with perins.
- FixedAt the penya cap, perins you receive now go to your second inventory when the main bag is full (a mail could keep coming back, and selling was refused).
- FixedDice game: closing or reopening the window now gives back your stakes, and a win at the penya cap is mailed to you instead of lost.
- FixedA shop refund that could not fit in your purse is now mailed to you instead of lost.

- FixedPenya-cap messages no longer quote the old 2,147,483,647 limit.

- ChangedRecycling gives less Equipment dust for some gear, and Kalgas armor and Ankou's weapons can now be recycled:
Item Dust Before Cruentus armor (each piece) 6 8 Bileire armor (each piece) 9 12 Ultimate Vampire weapons 8 10 Ultimate Ancient weapons 12 15 Kalgas armor (each piece) 12 new Ankou's weapons 16 new - ChangedCard levels need more copies: card level 10 now takes 375 copies of a common card (was 75) and 100 of a rare one (was 20).
- ChangedCard chests bought with dust cost more: 150 for a small one (was 60), 300 for a large one (was 200).
- FixedAzure star upgrades now show the result, success or failure; the stake can no longer go above the shards you own, and fees can be paid with perins when you lack penya.
- ChangedThe top Surge Damage roll from Azure has been adjusted.
- FixedQuickSell with the egg filter now skips your summoned pet's egg and sells the rest; before, it sold nothing.
World
- NewNew teleport zone: Elliun Plains, in the northern lands of Madrigal; the map shows it on the Kaillun region page.
- ChangedThe Desert teleport moved from the Cities list to the Zones list, and picking the Arena teleport now shows the Arena map.
- ChangedEvery mount is faster again, on the ground and in flight.
- ChangedFour Elements: the map now shows its own name (it said Royal Rumble), and Earth Divider, Sonic Blade, Piercing Serpent and Piercing Arrow now count as AoE skills there: no penalty in the AoE zone, blocked in the 1v1 zone.
