Patch Note [001]
Halloween · Zombie Hunt
The dead are walking across the world. Hunt them down, collect their tokens and trade them for Halloween mounts, pets, costumes and weapon looks.
What changes today
- NewZombies (Rotting Zombie and Ghastly Zombie) now rise next to the Giant and boss areas of Madrigal, Azria, Traseia and Dark Traseia. A fresh wave appears every 3 hours, all day long.
- NewZombies are level 150 but always take exactly 1 damage per hit: 10 hits bring one down, whatever your gear. They attack first and every hit they land deals a flat 100 damage. They give no EXP and no regular loot.
- NewZombies can drop the Zombie Hunter Token, the event's currency.
- NewNew NPC [Halloween] Zombie Hunter in Flarine, next to the Infernal Tower and Rift Merchant NPCs. Her shop takes Zombie Hunter Tokens:
Item Type Tokens Crazy Pumpkin Mount 250 Witch Broom Flying mount 225 The Reaper Pumpkin (Brown) Pet 200 The Reaper Pumpkin (Purple) Pet 200 Halloween Reaper weapon looks (Slayer, Axe, Knuckle, Stick, Wand, Staff, Bow, Yo-Yo) Weapon look (Model) 200 each Pumpkin Mask Costume 50 [Badge] Halloween Pumpkin Badge 25 [Badge] Halloween Spook Badge 25 Eyeball Candy (Critical Damage +5%, 60 min) Food 3 Ghost Cookie (Surge Chance +5%, 60 min) Food 3 Pumpkin Juice (all stats +5, 60 min) Food 3 Pumpkin Pie (Casting Time -10%, Attack Speed +10%, 60 min) Food 3 - ChangedThe Pumpkin Mask is now a permanent wardrobe costume: it no longer gives Max HP and no longer sells to NPCs for penya.
- FixedEvent monsters no longer appear in water, on cliffs or inside safe zones such as towns.
Champions
- NewChampion names: the #1 of the day's record ranking gets a mauve name with rising embers, and the #1 of the week's dungeon ranking a blue name with fireflies. The effect follows the current holder and moves on at each daily or weekly reset.
- NewThe Patron gold name shows over a champion effect while your server buff lasts; the champion effect comes back after it.
- ChangedThe Name effects option now hides every name effect of other players, champion names included.
- ChangedThe Sovereign role badges (nameplate crown, wardrobe, Sovereign window) now use the new badge art.
Interface
- NewRedesigned Season Pass window: a compact, resizable window with the season countdown, your level, EXP and next free and Premium rewards, both reward tracks side by side, a Premium panel, a confirmation before a new run at max level, and a flash on the cards when you level up. Its EXP link opens the Season Pass tab of the Adventure Quests.
- NewRedesigned Server Buff window: one card per buff with its bonuses, time left, duration and price, and the exact Patron gold-name time it gives you. Buying now asks for a confirmation showing your balance before and after.
- NewRedesigned VIP window: a rail of all 15 tiers (click one to see what it unlocks), your active bonuses by category, your points toward the next tier, and a button that opens the shop on VIP scrolls.
- NewShop: the detail of a box now lists its contents with their bonuses; hover an entry to see its full tooltip.
- NewStorage: a new Take All button moves every item shown (current tab and search) back to your bag.
- NewThe buyback window has a search bar to find an item by name.
- NewThe skill tooltip shows the stat the skill scales on, and for buffs the stat their duration scales on.
- NewPiercing card tooltips now say which weapons each Melee, Magic or Range attack bonus applies to.
- ChangedThe map's dungeon tooltip shows the full level range (min - max) and turns red when you are outside it.
- ChangedCombo skills (Bloody Strike, Keen Wheel, Blindside...) can now go on every taskbar slot, not only the top extra bar.
- FixedThe Stat Points boxes no longer keep the points you just spent after Apply.
- FixedThe inventory GearScore could stay at a wrong value (even 0) after a teleport or an upgrade until you relogged.
- FixedPet status: the Class and Stat values no longer overlap or get cut, the EXP percent sits inside its gauge, and the Max HP bonus reads HP +n.
- FixedMonsters are easier to click and target again: a cursor just next to a thin leg or a moving body now selects them.
- FixedThe welcome message now arrives only once per character.
Monsters
- ChangedCaptains and Giants from level 57 to 117 have far less defense and more HP: they no longer wall off weaker characters. Desert captains (137-142) also lose most of their defense and gain some HP.
Tutorial
- FixedThe tutorial now skips a quest another character of your account already claimed.
- FixedA player who levelled past the Clear Mars Mine tutorial step was stuck; that step now completes on its own.
Items & Economy
- ChangedGearScore: weapon rarity now weighs in proportion to the weapon's level and upgrade, so a higher-level weapon now outscores a lower-level one of better rarity.
- ChangedMystic Arcane Set full-set bonus is now Monster Damage +10%, ATK +5%, Surge Damage +15%, Surge Chance +15% (was Monster Damage +3%, Casting Time -15%, ATK +4%).
- ChangedOpening a card chest without a focus no longer favours the set selected in the list.
