Patch Note [002]
Crafting, Upgrade & Tower Windows
Three windows you use all the time are rebuilt from scratch in the style of the new Shop: crafting, item upgrades and the Infernal Tower.
What changes today
- NewNew Crafting window: your crafting level and bonuses at the top, category chips and a search across every category, and one recipe open at a time with its materials, its cost and a Craft ×N button.
- NewCrafting: type the quantity you want (or use -/+ and MAX), and after each craft a result strip shows what succeeded, the items you got and the crafting EXP gained.
- NewNew Upgrade window: one tab per upgrade (Normal, Ultimate, Piercing, Jewelry, Rarity), your item in a banner with its level, sockets or rarity, a target level, the components, your session so far and a history of your last attempts.
- NewUpgrade: one Start/Stop button runs attempts until your target is reached; each tab shows its warnings and fees (Ultimate break risk, piercing fee with your balance, the level at which jewelry binds), the bind confirmation now appears inside the window, and the window remembers its size and your last tab. The NPC upgrade menus open on their own tab.
- ChangedWhile the Upgrade window is running, the success and failure messages no longer flood the chat: the window's history shows them.
- NewNew Infernal Tower window: Solo and Guild tabs, a banner with your current floor, its number of waves, totems, malus and the floor reward, the floor's boss in a medallion, and an Enter button that shows whether you can go in.
- NewInfernal Tower: a progression track of the floors around yours with each floor's reward and the boss floors, your rank with the floors left to the next one, a Restart card (Perin or scroll) and the rules, including how long a defeat locks you out.
- NewInfernal Tower ranking: the Ranking button opens the season ranking over the window, with a podium, the top 15 and your own row (total time in Solo, date reached in Guild).
- ChangedThe ranking now opens from the window only: [Infernal Tower] Tommy no longer has a ranking menu.
Combat & PvP
- ChangedPvP damage and defense now change smoothly from one level to the next: no more sudden jumps at some levels.
- ChangedSwordcross (Bloody weapons) and Holycross still make the target take extra damage on the next hit, but against players that bonus is now much smaller. PvE is unchanged.
- ChangedAimed Shot and Vital stab: their bonus hits deal less extra damage to players, so a Ranger or a Jester no longer kills a player in one or two hits; both hit a little harder in PvP to keep their overall damage. The Dark Illusion damage bonus no longer applies against players. Nothing changes in PvE.
- ChangedSonichand now hits about like an auto attack, like the other Billposter skills; it hit much harder.
- ChangedPvP Preset: damage dealt and taken was retuned for every class.
- ChangedPvP Preset kit: Blades now fight with two Butcher's Carnage (were K Fang), every class's spare Bloody weapon is pierced with Land Card (A), and the bag adds Ice flakes (Lemon) x50 and Scroll of Re-Stat (STR), (STA), (INT) and (DEX) x50 each.
- ChangedPvP arenas give you 30 more seconds to get ready: preparation now lasts 3 min 30 s in FFA and TDM, 2 min 30 s in Team Mixed.
- ChangedThe vote that picks the next PvP event now stays open 45 minutes (was 15).
- FixedGuild Siege: some fighters, sometimes even the MVP, were missing from the siege's player results and lost their credit.
- FixedThe Guild Siege spawn shield effect no longer shows around an invisible player.
Dungeons & Rift
- ChangedDungeon energy refill: each +25 now lands only when the whole +25 fits, up to 100 (was 50), and at most twice a day; the count resets with the daily refill at 00:00 UTC. Time keeps counting while your gauge is full, so an earned refill lands as soon as you have room. Your PC energy follows the same rule, and the countdown only shows when a refill can still come today.
- ChangedRift EXP now counts your level as at most 5 levels above the rift's: a high-level player in a low-level rift earns far less EXP. Item and penya rewards are unchanged.
Monsters
- ChangedSeveral named monsters of Madrigal (level 15-110) have less HP, and their defense is now even between monsters of a similar level: Ren, Sisif, Rubo, Hunter X and others lose a lot of defense, while Clocks, Lord Bang Hanoyan and Emeraldmantis gain some.
- ChangedTraseia and Dark Traseia monsters now have about the same defense across each map (lower for most of them), with their HP adjusted to match.
- ChangedMost captains of Madrigal and Azria (level 1-120) now drop more penya, rising steadily with their level.
Halloween · Zombie Hunt
- ChangedEach wave now brings more zombies: about two thirds more at every spot.
Interface
- NewTaskbar: the page number between the arrows is now a key-rotate button. A click shifts the keys of every bar (1-9, then F1-F9, then Alt+1-9), and its tooltip shows the current keys.
- NewConversations: a pin button next to "+" keeps the conversation list open instead of hiding it.
- FixedThe VIP 5+ golden shout works: your shouts (and coloured shout scrolls) show in their colour again instead of the default pink.
Items & Economy
- ChangedLower prices at NPC shops (they also sell back to NPCs for less):
Item NPC Price Before Pet Energy [Pet Tamer] Hugues 15,000,000 50,000,000 Pick-up Pet Upgrade [Pet Tamer] Hugues 10,000,000 25,000,000 Item Transy (B) [Premium] Angelina 7,500,000 20,000,000 - ChangedThe Pet Energy sold by [Rift Merchant] Rengar for Rift tokens now sells back to NPCs for only 100 penya.
- ChangedWeapon Fusion: the weapon you fuse in must now be the same weapon as your main one (same item). Weapons already fused stay as they are.
- ChangedYour pet now picks up event-monster drops (like the Zombie Hunter Token) whatever its loot filter, unless it is set to pick up nothing.
