Patch Note [003]
Sovereign, Activity & World Map Windows
Three more windows are rebuilt from scratch in the style of the new Shop: the Sovereign seats, your activity points and the world map.
What changes today
- NewNew Sovereign window: a 3D view of each current holder wearing their real look plus their role outfit, a carousel of every seat (vacant ones included), and each role's doctrine, powers, buffs and election rewards. The role outfit is shown beside the rewards: it is unlocked while you hold the seat.
- NewSovereign window: the daily activity ranking (with the council's top 5), the doctrine choice and the Azuria auction listing now open over the window.
- NewSovereign window: a "Your position today" strip shows your daily activity rank and the gap to the council.
- NewNew Activity window with three tabs: Milestones (the next milestone, what you received, what is still locked), Ranking (week or month, a podium and your own row) and Earn points (every source by category, with its points and its daily cap).
- NewNew World map: a panorama map that fills the window, Cities, Zones, Dungeons and Marks tabs, a search across all of them and a carousel of destinations you can fold away.
- NewWorld map: pick a destination to see its teleport cost in penya and, for a dungeon, its requirements (level, GearScore, energy) with what is blocking you. Double-click a dungeon to teleport, or add it to your taskbar.
- NewWorld map: Ctrl+click adds a mark (up to 20) that you can rename or delete; toggles show or hide monsters, rifts, marks, party, guild, and a "?" button opens the legend.
- NewTeleporter NPCs open the world map in teleporter mode: click a gold point to travel there.
Interface
- NewNew Party window: resizable, an options panel for the leader (EXP and item sharing, party name, Finder listing), and you can drag a member to reorder the party.
- NewNew party quick view: drag its corner to scale it, and it shows the buffs of nearby members under their HP bar.
- NewThe Party Finder and Guild Finder are merged into one Finder window with a Party and a Guild tab: search, filters and sort, a party name column, and a card with the roster (each member's level and job).
- NewFinder, Guild tab: each guild's level, members, master and notice; whisper the master or join straight from the card.
- NewNew Achievements window: a dashboard with your stats, the achievements you have almost done and the latest ones completed, plus category pages with filters and sort. Viewing another player's trophies uses the same style.
- NewNew Adventure Quest window: illustrated rows with one line per task (the item icon or a 3D view of the monster), progress and reward, and a confirmation before a reroll.
- NewNew Hidden Bonds window: a step-by-step view of the event (registration, validation, preparation, hunt, results), resizable.
- NewNew dungeon reward window with three tabs: Rewards, Energy (your gauge, the machine reserve, the hourly regen and the activities that give energy) and Calculator, which replaces the old damage calculator.
- NewThe item and monster wikis are replaced by the Encyclopedia: one window with Items, Monsters, Awake and Collector tabs, a global search, where each item comes from (monsters, dungeons, NPCs, Rift) and a 3D preview of the item worn on a character. It remembers its size and position.
- ChangedIn French and German, the achievement texts now keep the word Achievement, as players say it.
- ChangedThe v15 theme's taskbar has a new cash shop button.
- ChangedRanking window: Rainbow Race, Prop Hunt and Jump Rapidity now have a Quarterly tab, and each event only shows the periods it really has.
- ChangedBox tooltips are now grouped: one line per set (armor and jewelry), and selection boxes only show the pieces for your sex.
- NewThe Encyclopedia now lists a box's contents on its item page; click a row to open that item.
- NewCard Collection: click an owned card to zoom it in; rare cards glow. Click again or press Esc to close.
World & Map
- NewYour guild members in the same world now show on the map with their name (a Guild toggle hides them).
- NewIn worlds with channels, the map shows other players' dots and a channel picker with the number of players on each channel.
- ChangedParty members on another channel now get their own party dot; their arrow only shows when they are on your channel.
- FixedCharacters now step up onto bridges and stairs instead of getting stuck at each step and having to jump.
Combat & PvP
- ChangedFFA and TDM now require level 90 (were level 60 and level 1).
- ChangedPenya Strike (Jester) now deals less damage.
- ChangedBlock skills and the set block bonus now also block monster attacks, melee and ranged; the character window shows your PvE Block Melee and PvE Block Range. PvP is unchanged.
- FixedEnchant Absorb (Jester) now heals you for a share of the damage of the hit that triggers it; its heal used to be a tiny flat amount you could barely notice.
- ChangedBlinkpool (Magician) can now be used on every map (arenas, towers, events...), except the Jump Rapidity event.
- FixedSwitching equipment presets while attacking now stops the attack and switches; before, the switch could be silently ignored and your PvP hits dealt 1 damage.
- FixedThe FFA window's expected Deathmarks now respect the reward cap: it no longer announces more than the end-of-event mail gives.
Dungeons & Rift
- ChangedIn a Rift more than 10 levels below you, you now get no reward: no score, no rank, no activity points and no energy. A message warns you when you enter.
- ChangedBlue Meteonyker and Green Meteonyker are now mid-bosses: their kills count as mid-boss kills.
- NewMany activities now refill the machine reserve of dungeon energy (shared by the characters of your computer), which is now capped at 200:
Activity Energy Rift completed (any tier) +2 Dungeon cleared in Hard +5 Infernal Tower floor cleared +1 Rainbow Race mini-game +10 Adventure Quest: daily quest completed +3 Adventure Quest: weekly quest completed +15 PvP event taken part in (FFA, TDM, Mixed, Guild Siege) +5 Heistia: end of the event (players who scored) +5 Hidden Bonds: person found +2 Server buff activated +4 Lottery: every 2 tickets bought in one purchase +1 Wheel of Fortune: VIP wheel prize claimed +3 - ChangedOpening a Large card chest gives +3 energy to your character itself, not to the machine reserve; smaller chests give none.
- ChangedSecret Room rebalanced for level 120: its monsters have much less HP and armor but hit much harder.
- ChangedAncient Chamber rebalanced for level 120: its monsters no longer kill you in one hit.
- FixedAfter reaching the Clockworks gate on a mount and getting off, you no longer deal 0 damage inside.
Items & Economy
- ChangedGearScore: fashion items (hat, clothes, gloves, boots), cloaks and masks no longer count, and their tooltip no longer shows a GearScore line.
- ChangedWhen the Minister of Environment blesses the land, monsters can now also drop Box of Stated Stones, Scroll of Superior Awakening and Energy Scroll +5; Mana Refresher and Refresher Hold are no longer part of these gifts.
- ChangedActivating a server buff now gives 5 activity points.
- ChangedA Scroll of Unbinding used on an item with a level reduction now removes the reduction (after a confirmation) and unbinds a bind-on-equip item; bound rewards stay bound.
- NewNew animated [Badge - A] Facebook and [Badge - A] TikTok badges, and the [Badge - A] Youtube badge is now animated.
- ChangedThe Safe Ultimate Weapon Creation menu is removed from every NPC: it could no longer work and always answered that the item was wrong. Unique weapon conversion is unchanged.
Events
- ChangedHidden Bonds no longer needs a busy server to start: it runs as soon as at least 6 players register.
- ChangedHidden Bonds: registered players who are away when registration closes (in a dungeon, an instance or another map) now keep their place and get their targets when they come back.
- ChangedHidden Bonds: a find now needs you to be really close to your target, height included (flying over it no longer counts), and a target standing in town cannot be found. A target who stays in town more than 5 seconds or dies is reassigned.
- ChangedHidden Bonds: the HUD arrow now points at the nearest target you can find (never one in town).
- NewHidden Bonds: spectators now see the live ranking.
- ChangedHidden Bonds: clearer messages tell where and how it runs (channel 1 in Madrigal, targets anywhere in the open world), and registering from another channel or into a full event now says so.
- FixedHidden Bonds: a relog no longer loses your registration, and "You're registered" now stays shown until the hunt.
- NewNew daily Jump Rapidity ranking: a Daily tab in the ranking window. Every day at 00:00 UTC, the top 10 of the day each receive a bound Energy Scroll +5 by mail.
Forge Repairs
- FixedLevel 150 players without a Faery Rank no longer gain Faery Experience or reach Faery Rank 1 before filling the level bar.
- FixedIn the Crafting window, the "possible" badge of a recipe no longer runs under the Craft button.
- FixedThe Heistia and Hidden Bonds minister powers can no longer run at the same time, nor overlap a Secret Room.
- FixedThe EXP block setting is now saved per character and no longer turns itself off after a relog.
- FixedA Prop Hunt seeker with a full inventory can no longer register and start without a weapon: free a slot first.
- FixedThe offline shop name window now refuses a name that is too long before opening the shop.
- FixedThe Linked Attack party skill tooltip now shows its real duration (5 min) and cost (3 points).
- FixedRanking rewards can no longer be sent twice after a server restart.
- FixedThe zone music now comes back after a level-up or a fight, instead of the default world theme looping.
- FixedIn the dungeon reward window, item tooltips no longer flicker or stay on screen after the cursor leaves, and the energy tooltip title is readable on the v15 theme.
